Glyn Sanderson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Carl Walton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carl Walton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ty Dickner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Hipolito Porfiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orsett's supporters rose to their feet, but Hipolito Porfiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carl Walton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Scott Lobb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Sedgemore in the 12th minute of the match. After 19 minutes of play, Orsett's Hipolito Porfiro made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carl Walton was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Glyn Sanderson in the 22nd minute of play forced St Helens AFC's goalkeeper Carl Walton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Glyn Sanderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, St Helens AFC's Louis Rundell got a free kick in the 26th minute. Carl Walton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glyn Sanderson in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Orsett getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Hipolito Porfiro hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glyn Sanderson in the 35th minute of play forced St Helens AFC's goalkeeper Carl Walton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Hipolito Porfiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Glyn Sanderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Walton having to interfere. Hipolito Porfiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Buster Nethercoat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Scott Lobb having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albert Sedgemore to strike the kick off in the second half. Radomir Bykowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th match minute, Orsett was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dylan Elwick to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Hipolito Porfiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carl Walton. St Helens AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hipolito Porfiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of St Helens AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Orsett:s goal. The referee gave Orsett a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Phil Alsford, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of St Helens AFC's Carl Walton. 3-0. In the 65th match minute, Orsett was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomir Bykowski to maneuver through the defense. Louis Rundell charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Louis Rundell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
