Simon Burkinshaw showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garry Duggan in the 3rd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Simon Burkinshaw successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Brendon Wicks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the game, Vance McGurk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seer Green's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eastcote the free kick. A collision led to Seer Green getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Vance McGurk hit a great ball. Ollie Prendergast struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Simon Burkinshaw didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eastcote. Brendon Wicks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Simon Burkinshaw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barry Apsden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Adam Hickson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Barry Apsden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barry Apsden blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adam Hickson having to make a save. Vance McGurk might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adam Hickson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vance McGurk ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Barry Apsden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adam Hickson was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 37th minute Barry Apsden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Hickson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Seer Green getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Christopher Larham hit a great ball. With a little luck, Seer Green's Simon Burkinshaw got control of the ball when Ollie Prendergast tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Olly Farrow fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eastcote's protests and gave Olly Farrow a yellow card for diving instead. Adam Hickson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barry Apsden, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. In the 48th match minute, Eastcote was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olly Farrow to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vance McGurk in the 49th minute of play forced Eastcote's goalkeeper Adam Hickson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brendon Wicks was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eastcote's goalkeeper Adam Hickson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Vance McGurk came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Seer Green fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vance McGurk couldn't finish the play. Eastcote's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Vance McGurk scored to the left of an out of position Adam Hickson, making the score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ollie Prendergast in the 70th minute of play forced Seer Green's goalkeeper Simon Burkinshaw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Ollie Prendergast managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eastcote's supporters rose to their feet, but Ollie Prendergast was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Burkinshaw breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victor Foley took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Simon Burkinshaw. Seer Green's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendon Wicks in the 78th minute of play forced Seer Green's goalkeeper Simon Burkinshaw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vance McGurk might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adam Hickson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vance McGurk ran back to his position shaking his head. Ollie Prendergast recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simeon Bond hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Simon Burkinshaw took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ollie Prendergast, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Ollie Prendergast shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Burkinshaw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eastcote's Brendon Wicks got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Halliwell was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 97 minutes into the match. After 97 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Seer Green! The referee gave Eastcote a penalty, 99 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Richard Francis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Seer Green's Simon Burkinshaw. 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
