Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nicholas Darko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Richard Ellison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kev Driver in the 19th minute of play. Richard Ellison made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Nicholas Darko sent off a good shot on target. Richard Ellison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kev Driver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Long Lawford's Richard Ellison proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Long Lawford from getting a goal against them. Ter's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Long Lawford the free kick. Ter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicholas Darko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Richard Ellison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kev Driver in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Long Lawford's goalkeeper Richard Ellison, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nicholas Darko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Ellison read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. With his leg Richard Ellison managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Ter's Kev Driver fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Tandy made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Long Lawford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfie Routledge to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicholas Darko in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Ellison saved Long Lawford from getting behind. Timothy Moyse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Ellison having to interfere. After having played for 61 minutes, Nicholas Darko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicholas Darko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kev Driver in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Ellison prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Timothy Moyse took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Ellison. Richard Ellison dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Kev Driver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ter's supporters rose to their feet, but Kev Driver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Ellison breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kev Driver in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Richard Ellison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Ter's goalkeeper Ivor Munday had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Tandy. If Kev Driver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
