Pat Gamble scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivor Munday, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Spike Gibbons didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicholas Darko went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 15th minute, Kev Driver ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Spike Gibbons was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 18th minute, Ron Bowden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Kev Driver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivor Munday showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shane Barone, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Manor house's zone, Kev Driver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Spike Gibbons came out of the goal and Kev Driver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivor Munday came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. Manor house's Shane Barone. But to his dismay, Shane Barone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. When Ter's Timothy Moyse in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. Manor house's goalie prevented a goal. Nicholas Darko in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Spike Gibbons, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ron Bowden in the 47th minute of play forced Ter's goalkeeper Ivor Munday to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Timothy Moyse made the kick off in the second half. Spike Gibbons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicholas Darko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd match minute, F.C. Manor house was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pat Gamble to maneuver through the defense. After 56 played minutes Ter got a freekick which was hit by Basil Varley. Ivor Munday showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ron Bowden, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Kev Driver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ter's supporters rose to their feet, but Kev Driver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Spike Gibbons breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute, Basil Varley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Spike Gibbons was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Nicholas Darko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Spike Gibbons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Carl Nelson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivor Munday showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ron Bowden, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Graeme Hardwick charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Spike Gibbons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basil Varley in the 85th minute of the match. Ruben Maclean took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Spike Gibbons. F.C. Manor house's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pat Gamble kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Timothy Moyse made a precise shot to the right of Spike Gibbons. F.C. Manor house's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ter fans cheered their team off the field, for while F.C. Manor house had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
