Martin Cryan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Langsford having to interfere. If Neil Kelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Neil Kelly got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stevie Dunning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Leeson having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Bloomsbury FC got a freekick which was hit by Alistair Lagdon. After 27 played minutes Bloomsbury FC got a freekick which was hit by Reg Patton. After 28th play minutes Neil Kelly shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Dennis Leeson and just under the crossbar into goal. Louie Cavanagh hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Bloomsbury FC's Dennis Leeson got control of the ball when Stevie Dunning tried to sneak it across the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Bloomsbury FC's goalkeeper Dennis Leeson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stevie Dunning. John Langsford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reg Patton in the 42nd minute of play. John Langsford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reg Patton, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Neil Kelly made the kick off in the second half. John Langsford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Cryan in the 55th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Gloucester's Stevie Dunning sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dennis Leeson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Neil Kelly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dennis Leeson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Neil Kelly's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. John Langsford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Kingston in the 70th minute of the match. Tom Kingston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tom Kingston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gloucester's John Langsford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reg Patton in the 93rd minute of play. Neil Kelly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stevie Dunning recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bloomsbury FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gloucester.
