Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel North started the match with the kick off. Camron Bromley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stu Wagstaff's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute, George Owen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to LONG AFC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Vic Blackwater hit a great ball. George Owen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Stu Wagstaff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Camron Bromley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stu Wagstaff in the 16th minute of play. Sean Blake who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Callum Bellamy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. George Owen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sean Blake sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Callum Bellamy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sean Blake in the 25th minute. Colin Brearley hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stu Wagstaff in the 32nd minute of play forced Tewkesbury's goalkeeper Camron Bromley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sean Blake recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dane Philips hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stu Wagstaff stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. George Owen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Camron Bromley when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Stu Wagstaff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Camron Bromley was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Stu Wagstaff capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stu Wagstaff really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. LONG AFC's Callum Bellamy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Blake in the 62nd minute of play. Stu Wagstaff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camron Bromley having to interfere. LONG AFC's Stu Wagstaff got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Callum Bellamy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel North, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 73rd minute, Daniel North got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tewkesbury's Daniel North got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, George Owen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camron Bromley. Tewkesbury's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that George Owen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Reg Strongman hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. If George Owen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stu Wagstaff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Camron Bromley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over LONG AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tewkesbury throughout the match.
