In the 22nd minute of the match, Alistair Lamb got a very nice opportunity to score, but Leon Hendley was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 26th minute, Vincent Coulson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leon Hendley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Graham Oliver in the 37th minute of the match. The supporters of Coleshill booed when Seaford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marlon Goldsmith didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marc Swanson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Brendon Blueman. Seaford's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alistair Lamb got free with Leon Hendley in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Alistair Lamb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Graham Oliver to make the kick off. Leon Hendley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alistair Lamb, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 55 played minutes Coleshill got a freekick which was hit by Beinn Meehan. In the 60th minute, Reggie Soussan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Graham Oliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Hendley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd minute, Seaford's Vincent Coulson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vincent Coulson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Seaford protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vincent Coulson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Seaford fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! The Seaford supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Coleshill's performance. The match ended with a win for Coleshill.
