Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Bexleyheath's Arvin Söderquist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 minutes of play, Bexleyheath's Eddy Snowden made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simon Winship was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eddy Snowden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Winship having to interfere. Simon Winship showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvin Söderquist in the 11th minute of the match. Bexleyheath's Kris Bedford proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Bexleyheath from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute Miles Heath shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Winship saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes Bexleyheath got a freekick which was hit by Nathanial Carsley. After a defensive mix-up in Bexleyheath's zone, Ted Stubbs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kris Bedford came out of the goal and Ted Stubbs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mickey Hunter charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mickey Hunter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes Bexleyheath got a freekick which was hit by Mickey Hunter. In the 33rd match minute, Bexleyheath was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mickey Hunter to maneuver through the defense. Arvin Söderquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Winship having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Denis Whitman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kris Bedford. The goal made the score 1-1. Albert Shephard kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Simon Winship made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Arvin Söderquist sent off a good shot on target. Eric Lampard's late challenge caught a Bexleyheath's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eric Lampard helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lovedean AFC's Eric Lampard got a free kick in the 54th minute. With his leg Simon Winship managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Bexleyheath's Arvin Söderquist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Lovedean AFC's Albert Shephard got a free kick in the 58th minute. When Mickey Hunter was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. The supporters of Lovedean AFC booed when Bexleyheath was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mickey Hunter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arvin Söderquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Simon Winship tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 72 minutes into the game, when Cliff Dobson put in a rough tackle. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lovedean AFC! Simon Winship had in the 75thth minute some difficulties stopping Spike Shields's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvin Söderquist in the 76th minute of play forced Lovedean AFC's goalkeeper Simon Winship to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Lovedean AFC's goalkeeper Simon Winship had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arvin Söderquist. Arvin Söderquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sidney Hollingsworth hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Arvin Söderquist struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Simon Winship didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bexleyheath. In the 95th play minute Arvin Söderquist came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Simon Winship. 1-2.
