After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 56th minute, Dylon Talbot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clacton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Nileford United's supporters rose to their feet, but Gez Kalischer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gordon Mansfield breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orson Ferrell's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Gordon Mansfield skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
