Colin Krief might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victor Owen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Colin Krief ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind West Rainton City's goalkeeper Victor Owen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Giles Woodhead sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benji Lynam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dean Clare having to interfere. When Benjamin Harrison fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Giles Woodhead scored 1-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dean Clare, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Colin Krief's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Victor Owen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giles Woodhead in the 89th minute of play forced Wanstead FC's goalkeeper Dean Clare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 minutes, Giles Woodhead made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Wanstead FC's Dean Clare tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
