Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lewis Burnham kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Antony Riad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve Titmuss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All Star XI's Steve Titmuss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Des Philips in the 6th minute of play. Steve Titmuss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Des Philips in the 7th minute of play. All Star XI's Lewis Burnham got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Mitch Land hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 played minutes All Star XI got a freekick which was hit by Christian Holt. Quentin Greaves took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Steve Titmuss. All Star XI's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Chester-le-Street AFC's Carlton Harkness got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute Antony Riad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve Titmuss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steve Titmuss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denzil Downes in the 31st minute of play. In the 38th minute, Mitch Land hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steve Titmuss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Des Philips in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlton Harkness stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Steve Titmuss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlton Harkness, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Denzil Downes hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Des Philips sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 played minutes All Star XI got a freekick which was hit by Matty Barton. In the 74th minute, one of All Star XI:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for All Star XI. Thanks to some nice moves Antony Riad could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Steve Titmuss however easily saved by the left post. Allan Webb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lewis Burnham in the 88th minute of play. Steve Titmuss made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Des Philips sent off a good shot on target. Christian Holt kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Des Philips succeeded in the game's 96th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2.
