Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Phillip Ash took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Stokesley's Ethan Maloney got control of the ball when Felix Barrett tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th play minute Felix Barrett came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ethan Maloney. 1-0. Ethan Maloney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phillip Ash, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute, Duncan Harrison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ritchie Bell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frazer Birchall having to interfere. Ethan Maloney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Barrett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stoke Poges AFC's Frazer Birchall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ritchie Bell in the 34th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Stoke Poges AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Wallbank came free, but Frazer Birchall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ritchie Bell made a kick off. Ethan Maloney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Barrett in the 56th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, Stoke Poges AFC's Felix Barrett nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ethan Maloney made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Ethan Maloney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Barrett, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Phillip Ash managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stoke Poges AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Phillip Ash was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 65 minutes, Nicholas Haxby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stokesley and the Stoke Poges AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Stokesley getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Nicholas Haxby hit a great ball. If Phillip Ash had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ethan Maloney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phillip Ash in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phillip Ash in the 70th minute of play forced Stokesley's goalkeeper Ethan Maloney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 minutes, Reg Coates mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stokesley and the Stoke Poges AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Stokesley:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Stoke Poges AFC:s goal. 78 minutes into the match, Stokesley's goal looked a bit too open when Phillip Ash came free, but Ethan Maloney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th match minute, Stokesley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Des Forster to maneuver through the defense. Ethan Maloney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phillip Ash, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th match minute, Stokesley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danny Church to maneuver through the defense. Felix Barrett struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Ethan Maloney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stoke Poges AFC. In the 83rd minute Phillip Ash shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ethan Maloney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Wallbank got free with Frazer Birchall in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felix Barrett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Damion Senior came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Stoke Poges AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damion Senior couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, Stokesley's goal looked a bit too open when Phillip Ash came free, but Ethan Maloney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, Phillip Ash had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ethan Maloney. Stokesley's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Phillip Ash was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Stoke Poges AFC had won after a very even match.
