Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paddy Le Tissier started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rupert May in the 3rd minute of play forced Kirkby's goalkeeper Joey Linkletter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 minutes, Jim Barnett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kirkby and the big coffe players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kirkby's Jim Barnett got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 13thth minute of the game Paddy Le Tissier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but big coffe's Luke Allanson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peter Partridge hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Jim Barnett was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 17 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Kirkby:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of big coffe:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in big coffe's zone, Dion Sherwood stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luke Allanson came out of the goal and Dion Sherwood tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luke Allanson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dion Sherwood in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, big coffe's Felix Frost got a free kick in the 25th minute. Joey Linkletter came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by big coffe's Peter Partridge. But to his dismay, Peter Partridge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. David Moyle kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kirkby's Nial Noble got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rupert May to make the kick off. When Darren Hutchings came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the big coffe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darren Hutchings couldn't finish the play. Rupert May could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Joey Linkletter made a huge save. In the 57th minute, Peter Partridge made a precise shot to the right of Joey Linkletter. Kirkby's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Luke Allanson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dion Sherwood in the 62nd minute of play. Dion Sherwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Luke Allanson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joey Linkletter made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Rupert May sent off a good shot on target. Rupert May fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joey Linkletter having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kirkby's zone, Rupert May stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joey Linkletter came out of the goal and Rupert May tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by big coffe's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lennie Bland was slow to take the kick. During this time Kirkby's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Lennie Bland got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luke Allanson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jamie Dexter during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th match minute, big coffe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamie Dexter to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 93 minutes, Dion Sherwood managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kirkby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dion Sherwood was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dion Sherwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. big coffe's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
