Andre Booth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Greg Edmunds went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 21 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Jacinto notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Bedford's Ross Slabber. Ross Slabber was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnaldo Jacinto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Ross Slabber skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Pol Ak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ross Slabber was a little too slow when Arnaldo Jacinto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 3-1. Ross Slabber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Henman, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Arnaldo Jacinto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ross Slabber having to make a save. Arnaldo Jacinto scored 4-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ross Slabber, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

53 minutes into the match, Chipping Norton United's Pol Ak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ross Slabber narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Arnaldo Jacinto came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Chipping Norton United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Jacinto couldn't finish the play. When Chipping Norton United's Arnaldo Jacinto in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bedford's goalie prevented a goal. Ross Slabber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pol Ak in the 63rd minute of the match. Jude Soares hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Charlie Henman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Jacinto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Ross Slabber was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 74 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Jacinto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ross Slabber. Bedford's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaldo Jacinto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Pol Ak struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Ross Slabber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chipping Norton United. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruce Broadhurst got free with Andre Booth in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnaldo Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ross Slabber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chipping Norton United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
