Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Glastonbury's Sammy Griggs managed to work through Beaconsfield's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Sammy Griggs dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Tyler Campbell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johnathon Gavan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Downes having to interfere. After 15 played minutes, Glastonbury's Martyn Jennings shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Richard Downes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Glastonbury reached it. If Sammy Griggs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Glastonbury's Ollie Metcalfe got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game Crispin Wiltshire who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glastonbury's Felix Gill was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Tyler Campbell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Gill was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martyn Jennings during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Glastonbury:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Beaconsfield:s goal. Sammy Griggs struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Richard Downes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glastonbury. In the 40th match minute, Beaconsfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chesney Harland to maneuver through the defense. After 42 minutes of play, Beaconsfield's Al Corbridge made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Gill was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The wind increased when Tyler Campbell made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Beaconsfield's zone, Johnathon Gavan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Downes came out of the goal and Johnathon Gavan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd minute, Tyler Campbell fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Felix Gill, passed just outside the right post. Richard Downes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Griggs in the 71st minute of play. Felix Gill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyler Campbell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Beaconsfield getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Chesney Harland hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Johnathon Gavan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Al Corbridge sped through Glastonbury's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Felix Gill. Richard Downes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sammy Griggs in the 93rd minute of the match. If Sammy Griggs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sammy Griggs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Beaconsfield walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
