Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Grant Hind started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Philip Shotton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stockbridge and the Thatto Heath players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Stockbridge getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Philip Shotton hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the game, Rupert Rowland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stockbridge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thatto Heath the free kick. The supporters of Thatto Heath booed when Stockbridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rupert Rowland didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8th play minutes Mike Sinclair shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Victor Hamilton and just under the crossbar into goal. After 19 minutes, Roy Carsley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stockbridge and the Thatto Heath players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roy Carsley kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Victor Hamilton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shaun Theobald in the 21st minute of play. After 24 played minutes Stockbridge got a freekick which was hit by Jack Kendall. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the game, Rodd Wishart was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After a rather tough play, Thatto Heath's Rodd Wishart got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Grant Hind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the game, Shaun Theobald cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Victor Hamilton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The wind increased when Shaun Theobald made the kick off in the second half. If Grant Hind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 59th minute, Roy Carsley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Lawrence Forrest from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Victor Hamilton's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Victor Hamilton was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Shaun Theobald showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 66 minute of play. In the 68th minute, Rodd Wishart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodd Wishart hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Philip Shotton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ed Lowndes having to interfere. Vernon Harkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Billy Crossley let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 87th minute shot 0-4 at rihgt post. Thatto Heath's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
