After a rather tough play, lönJÜ-yare's Jude Impey got a free kick in the 6th minute. Fraser Prior hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 10 minutes, William Drury mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canary Wharf Hotspur and the lönJÜ-yare players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Canary Wharf Hotspur fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Canary Wharf Hotspur's Gordon Ball looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gordon Ball sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stew Emberson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dane Daly having to interfere. Gordon Ball took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dane Daly. Dane Daly dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 25 minutes into the match, Canary Wharf Hotspur's Gordon Ball sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dane Daly narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Gordon Ball had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frazer Drury recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute Andrew Howarth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dane Daly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Gordon Ball could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Dane Daly however easily saved by the left post. Gordon Ball sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 46 minutes of play Canary Wharf Hotspur's William Drury was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Canary Wharf Hotspur's William Drury got a free kick in the 47th minute. After 48 played minutes Canary Wharf Hotspur got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Page. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frazer Drury to make the kick off. Frazer Drury's late challenge caught a Canary Wharf Hotspur's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frazer Drury helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, lönJÜ-yare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frazer Drury to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of lönJÜ-yare booed when Canary Wharf Hotspur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rob Brumfitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Canary Wharf Hotspur's Andrew Howarth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dane Daly made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Gordon Ball managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canary Wharf Hotspur's supporters rose to their feet, but Gordon Ball was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dane Daly breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dane Daly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stew Emberson in the 69th minute of the match. Canary Wharf Hotspur's Gareth Ambrose was substituted for Rob Brumfitt. 79 minutes into the match, Andrew Howarth notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of lönJÜ-yare's Dane Daly. Dane Daly was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th minute, Karl Bolton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gordon Ball sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stew Emberson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. lönJÜ-yare's Dane Daly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Howarth in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th match minute, lönJÜ-yare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jude Impey to maneuver through the defense. Dane Daly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stew Emberson, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute, lönJÜ-yare's Frazer Drury ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dominik Elliot. Dominik Elliot yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-1. Canary Wharf Hotspur walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
