In the 6th match minute, Bazinga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Beckwith to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the game, Ty Hardcastle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alan Emberson. Ty Hardcastle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Des Wing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Darko in the 16th minute of play. Piers Strong succeeded in the game's 18th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. In the 23rd minute, Fraser Rusby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Bazinga FC booed when Seer Green City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Flemming didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Gavin Rush notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Seer Green City's Des Wing. Des Wing was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Piers Strong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Alan Emberson made a huge save. In the 36th minute, Piers Strong reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alan Emberson. The goal made the score 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gavin Rush was the one to do the kick off. Alan Emberson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ty Hardcastle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrick Flemming charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrick Flemming the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Seer Green City's Patrick Flemming got a free kick in the 69th minute. Bazinga FC's Alan Emberson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martyn Mann in the 72nd minute of play. If Piers Strong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donald Wardill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bazinga FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ivan Clark hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Phil Farrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Piers Strong left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Seer Green City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Charlie Granville struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Alan Emberson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seer Green City. After 87 minutes of play, Seer Green City's Ty Hardcastle made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alan Emberson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Tim Darko got free with Des Wing in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alan Emberson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ty Hardcastle in the 97th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Seer Green City players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
