Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Tiverton's Gus Heath got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The supporters of Ashton Under Hill City booed when Tiverton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rhys Wing didn't get a good kick on the ball. Billy Heath kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ashton Under Hill City defense, Gus Heath kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Akins. The Ashton Under Hill City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Akins should have stopped the shot. Will Grayson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Alex Akins made a huge save. 16 minutes into the match, Ashton Under Hill City's goalkeeper Alex Akins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Will Grayson. Ashton Under Hill City's Patrick Hanson got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Tiverton's zone, Patrick Hanson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John-Paul Butters came out of the goal and Patrick Hanson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alex Akins made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Will Grayson sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Ashton Under Hill City's Piers Bell got a free kick in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, Ashton Under Hill City's Alex Akins got control of the ball when Will Grayson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wally Lynch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. John-Paul Butters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Will Grayson could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Alex Akins however easily saved by the left post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gus Heath stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alex Akins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gus Heath, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Gus Heath sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Akins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gus Heath, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrick Hanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wally Lynch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrick Hanson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blair Little took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Akins. Alex Akins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Wally Lynch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrew Hulbert kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Ashton Under Hill City were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
