Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gus Heath started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute, Budleigh Salterton's Keanu Crabtree seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Keanu Crabtree the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Budleigh Salterton protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Keanu Crabtree had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Jasper Philpott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gus Heath in the 14th minute of the match. Will Grayson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jasper Philpott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Budleigh Salterton's goal looked a bit too open when Will Grayson came free, but Jasper Philpott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vernon Ashford fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Budleigh Salterton's protests and gave Vernon Ashford a yellow card for diving instead. 23 minutes into the game, one of Budleigh Salterton:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gus Heath in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jasper Philpott prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 30 minutes, Oliver Jennings mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Budleigh Salterton and the Tiverton players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oliver Jennings kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Gus Heath struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Jasper Philpott didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tiverton. Will Grayson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd match minute, Budleigh Salterton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ash Hargreaves to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jasper Rusby stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Gus Heath reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jasper Philpott. The goal made the score 0-2. Gus Heath sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Gus Heath kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jasper Philpott. That made the score 0-3 in the 63 minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Will Grayson notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Budleigh Salterton's Jasper Philpott. Jasper Philpott was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Jasper Rusby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jasper Rusby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Billy Pryor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jasper Philpott. Budleigh Salterton's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Budleigh Salterton's Jasper Philpott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gus Heath in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, one of Budleigh Salterton:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Budleigh Salterton. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tiverton's goalkeeper John-Paul Butters, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
