With his leg Phil McNiven managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when White Wolves Utd's Dave Carter fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Phil McNiven made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Christian Taylor sent off a good shot on target. 17 minutes into the match, Dave Carter notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Great Bookham United's Phil McNiven. Phil McNiven was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 20th minute, Owen Wallbank ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lloyd Logan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Great Bookham United's zone, Dave Carter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Phil McNiven came out of the goal and Dave Carter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 97th minute, Owen Wallbank reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lloyd Logan. The goal made the score 1-10. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Great Bookham United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
