Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Garry Clegg took the kick off in the first half of the match. Robert Billington received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Norman Bryden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Windlesham United's Norman Bryden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Billington in the 8th minute of play. Walcote's Carlton Baum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Edmunds in the 11th minute of play. Sean Bartlett hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Norman Bryden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garry Clegg, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Greg Waple came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Carlton Baum could save by the left post. The supporters of Windlesham United booed when Walcote was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. After having played for 24 minutes, Frank Edmunds managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Windlesham United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Edmunds was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Walcote's Keanu Shakespeare got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Greg Waple received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Walcote's Carlton Baum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Walcote from getting a goal against them. Frank Edmunds sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd match minute, Walcote was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tosh Best to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the game, Greg Waple cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Carlton Baum was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Greg Waple fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlton Baum having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Frank Edmunds put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Carlton Baum. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Edmunds in the 62nd minute of play forced Walcote's goalkeeper Carlton Baum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Walcote defense, Greg Waple kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlton Baum. The Walcote fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlton Baum should have stopped the shot. Frank Edmunds sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 played minutes Walcote got a freekick which was hit by Keanu Shakespeare. In the 77th minute, Malcolm Avery sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Walcote's Carlton Baum didn't even have to move. Carlton Baum came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Windlesham United's Will Woodyat. But to his dismay, Will Woodyat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Carlton Baum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greg Waple in the 86th minute of the match. Frank Edmunds recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Garry Clegg took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Norman Bryden to make any attempt to save it. 96 minutes into the game, Windlesham United's Greg Waple nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlton Baum made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1.
