Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Blair Fordham took the kick off in the first half of the match. Wolves's Ruben Woodford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremy Canning in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute, Ed Bevan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruben Woodford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blair Fordham in the 8th minute of the match. Ruben Woodford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ed Bevan in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Joe Day got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruben Woodford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ed Bevan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruben Woodford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blair Fordham in the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Keele's Ed Bevan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruben Woodford made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 33 minutes into the match, Ed Bevan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruben Woodford. Wolves's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ed Bevan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Malcolm Horseman's late challenge caught a Wolves's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malcolm Horseman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Malcolm Horseman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johnathan Duckworth blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacob Burkinshaw having to make a save. Joe Day received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jacob Burkinshaw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johnathan Duckworth in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacob Burkinshaw prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacob Burkinshaw didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 46th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johnathan Duckworth made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Wolves's goalkeeper Ruben Woodford had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Larry Joy. Ed Bevan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Ruben Woodford made a huge save. If Blair Fordham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Billie Lamb kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute of the match Vinnie Reeve shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacob Burkinshaw showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 71st minute Blair Fordham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Woodford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johnathan Duckworth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Larry Joy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Ruben Woodford made a huge save. Ruben Woodford made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ed Bevan in the 81st minute. Johnathan Duckworth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vinnie Reeve came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Wolves fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vinnie Reeve couldn't finish the play. The Keele players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
