Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Steven Pearch made the kick off and thus started the match. Bradley Patten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierce Paget having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaz Ramsden in the 6th minute of play forced Egremont's goalkeeper Nick Sadler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Devon Ingham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Gatwick FC fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Gatwick FC's Gaz Ramsden looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nick Sadler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaz Ramsden's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. When Charles Knowles came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Egremont fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Knowles couldn't finish the play. If Steven Pearch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 32nd minute, Gaz Ramsden left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gatwick FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Allan Bloom kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Steven Pearch notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Egremont's Nick Sadler. Nick Sadler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 43 minutes, Charles Knowles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Egremont's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Knowles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charles Knowles to make the kick off. Nick Sadler came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gatwick FC's Gaz Ramsden. But to his dismay, Gaz Ramsden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Pierce Paget made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Knowles in the 56th minute of play. When Charles Knowles came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Egremont fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Knowles couldn't finish the play. Egremont's Devon Ingham got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Devon Ingham off the ground. The supporters of Gatwick FC booed when Egremont was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Devon Ingham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nick Sadler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaz Ramsden in the 67th minute. Bradley Patten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Pierce Paget tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 minutes, Charles Knowles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Egremont and the Gatwick FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st match minute, Egremont was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Knowles to maneuver through the defense. When Steven Pearch came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Gatwick FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steven Pearch couldn't finish the play. Egremont's Nick Sadler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Egremont from getting a goal against them. Gaz Ramsden scored 0-5 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nick Sadler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pierce Paget didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Egremont. In the 94th minute, Gatwick FC's Steven Pearch dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Gatwick FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
