Spectators: 6699 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ralf Renner kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute of the match Harvey Holdcroft shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nathan Addison showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Luton FC's goalkeeper Nathan Addison had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jools Darko. Roger Pitts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Renner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Luton FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ralf Renner hit a great ball. Jools Darko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nathan Addison read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. When Liscard's Lance Wooding in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Luton FC's goalie prevented a goal. Nathan Addison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lance Wooding, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the game, Luton FC's Freddy Crocker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roger Pitts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Roger Pitts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Renner in the 22nd minute of the match. If Ralf Renner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Pitts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Crocker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Liscard's Roger Pitts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Renner in the 41st minute of play. Ralf Renner struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Roger Pitts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luton FC. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Lance Wooding made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Lance Wooding's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nathan Addison was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After taking down the ball on Liscard's corner Lloyd Peyton fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nathan Addison quite easily take care of the ball. Jools Darko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Nathan Addison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nathan Addison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lance Wooding in the 59th minute of play. Roger Pitts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bill Ferrell in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Liscard's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Renner came free, but Roger Pitts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harvey Holdcroft kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Bill Ferrell sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Liscard's Roger Pitts didn't even have to move. Roger Pitts didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 78th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Lance Wooding sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 minutes of play, Liscard's Lance Wooding made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nathan Addison was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Liscard supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Luton FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Luton FC.
