Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leo Gray started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Gray in the 5th minute of play forced Cambridge United's goalkeeper Iain Crittenden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shane Wheeler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Skegby AFC's Leo Gray in the 7th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Iain Crittenden was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Cambridge United through an amazing save. Leo Gray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cambridge United getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Austen Ainsworth hit a great ball. Tim Margarson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronnie Oldham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sammy Dunning kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Shane Wheeler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iain Crittenden having to interfere. When Skegby AFC's Leo Gray in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 54thth minute of the game Ronnie Oldham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skegby AFC's Tim Margarson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Shane Wheeler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Iain Crittenden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Skegby AFC's Tim Margarson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronnie Oldham in the 59th minute of play. Iain Crittenden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Gray in the 61st minute of the match. A collision led to Skegby AFC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Shane Wheeler hit a great ball. When Wally Gomersall fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cambridge United's protests and gave Wally Gomersall a yellow card for diving instead. Wally Gomersall kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Shane Wheeler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
