When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leo Gray made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Skegby AFC's Shane Wheeler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felix Lockwood made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When Leo Gray came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Skegby AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Gray couldn't finish the play. Shane Wheeler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Lockwood having to interfere. Skegby AFC's Shane Wheeler got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Leo Gray got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 0-3 became the score in the 74th minute when Leo Gray elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 81st minute of the match, Leo Gray tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Felix Lockwood saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Warren Foley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Tim Margarson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Skegby AFC booed when Lymington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ray Pearce didn't get a good kick on the ball.
