A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Shírnifox's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Billing came free, but Benji Crowther reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dale Billing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 32 in the game by Tom Westerby from a close distance when the talented Harvey Patterson managed to make a qualified save. Keggers Hill City's players were relieved. Harvey Patterson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tom Westerby went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tom Westerby made a kick off. Ben Van Der Hoorn charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ben Van Der Hoorn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Shírnifox getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ben Van Der Hoorn hit a great ball. Daryl Buttons short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Benji Crowther to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ash Kerridge's late challenge caught a Shírnifox's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ash Kerridge helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Keggers Hill City's Ash Kerridge got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 58 minutes of play Keggers Hill City's Ash Kerridge was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Keggers Hill City getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ash Kerridge hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Shírnifox's zone, Daryl Button stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benji Crowther came out of the goal and Daryl Button tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joey Clayton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harvey Patterson having to interfere. If Ricky Monk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tom Westerby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Harvey Patterson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Joey Clayton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shírnifox's supporters rose to their feet, but Joey Clayton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harvey Patterson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tom Westerby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Tom Westerby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harvey Patterson having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Daryl Button managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Keggers Hill City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daryl Button was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Keggers Hill City getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Dale Billing hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Shírnifox were the better team. Shírnifox's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
