Kris Beck who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Nick Sawyer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 30th minute of the match Eric Whitford shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nick Sawyer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Phil Bannister took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim Lennon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Barnfield kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Keyworth's goal looked a bit too open when Martyn Thomas came free, but Nick Sawyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Heathrow Airport United booed when Keyworth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mitch Sills didn't get a good kick on the ball.
