In the 19th minute, Fraser Midgley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Penzance's Hayden Ingram got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Penzance's goalkeeper Nicholas Parkinson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joel Kyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 31 minutes, Paul Leeson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huddersfield AFC and the Penzance players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute, Paul Leeson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Huddersfield AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Kyle came free, but Pete Cunningham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joel Kyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Huddersfield AFC booed when Penzance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iain Duffield didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Billie West made the kick off in the second half. If Lance Crichton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pete Cunningham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lance Crichton, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Penzance's Tod Jobson got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicholas Parkinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Leeson, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. When Shawn Foster fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Penzance's protests and gave Shawn Foster a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes Penzance got a freekick which was hit by Shawn Foster. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lance Crichton in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pete Cunningham saved Huddersfield AFC from getting behind. Nicholas Parkinson came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Huddersfield AFC's Paul Leeson. But to his dismay, Paul Leeson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Joel Kyle might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pete Cunningham. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Kyle ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Penzance booed when Huddersfield AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tristan McNiven didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Penzance's Archie Fry in action when he in the 83rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 87 minutes into the match, Billie West notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Penzance's Nicholas Parkinson. Nicholas Parkinson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Shawn Foster kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Huddersfield AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
