Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Billie West made the kick off which started today's match. Penzance's Nicholas Parkinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billie West in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 played minutes Huddersfield AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Weeks. The audience was convinced that Lance Crichton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pete Cunningham was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Nicholas Parkinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billie West, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Joel Kyle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicholas Parkinson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Leeson's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After a rather tough play, Huddersfield AFC's Jim Lennon got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Lance Crichton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pete Cunningham having to interfere. The supporters of Penzance booed when Huddersfield AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billie West didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lance Crichton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Pete Cunningham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Billie West fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicholas Parkinson having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lance Crichton to make the kick off. Nicholas Parkinson made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Paul Leeson sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Nicholas Parkinson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Penzance's Archie Fry got a free kick in the 57th minute. Ivan Weeks struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Nicholas Parkinson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huddersfield AFC. If Billie West had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Joel Kyle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Penzance's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Kyle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pete Cunningham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lance Crichton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 played minutes Huddersfield AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jim Lennon. Pete Cunningham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Kyle in the 65th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Shawn Foster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Huddersfield AFC's Ivan Weeks tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Nicholas Parkinson made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Paul Leeson sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Huddersfield AFC booed when Penzance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hayden Ingram didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Huddersfield AFC booed when Penzance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shawn Foster didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Billie West in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicholas Parkinson saved Penzance from getting behind. After having played for 86 minutes, Paul Leeson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huddersfield AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul Leeson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Penzance's Joel Kyle got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Penzance's Nicholas Parkinson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Penzance from getting a goal against them. Paul Leeson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicholas Parkinson having to make a save. 96 minutes into the match, Penzance's goal looked a bit too open when Billie West came free, but Nicholas Parkinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
