Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Zack Dickens started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Devon Topham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zack Dickens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Verne Willets having to make a save. If Ethan Fenton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ninfield getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Christian Kerr hit a great ball. In the 22nd match minute, Ninfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orson Stamp to maneuver through the defense. Brynn Bacon kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. When Devon Topham fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liphook AFC's protests and gave Devon Topham a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes Liphook AFC got a freekick which was hit by Devon Topham. If Orson Stamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Liphook AFC defense, Zack Dickens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Verne Willets. The Liphook AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Verne Willets should have stopped the shot. Christian Kerr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Devon Topham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 played minutes Liphook AFC got a freekick which was hit by Vinnie Wells. Zack Dickens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Verne Willets tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ethan Fenton to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Liphook AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Orson Stamp fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vinnie Wells charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vinnie Wells the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Verne Willets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zack Dickens, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Jonathon Reeve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Kaye having to interfere. The supporters of Ninfield booed when Liphook AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basil Garforth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zack Dickens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Verne Willets tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Kaye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ethan Fenton in the 68th minute of play. Simon Kaye didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonathon Reeve went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 73 minutes into the match, Ninfield's Zack Dickens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Verne Willets narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Orson Stamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orson Stamp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Verne Willets having to make a save. Orson Stamp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Verne Willets made a huge save. Orson Stamp in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Verne Willets, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ninfield's Zack Dickens got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simon Kaye showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ethan Fenton in the 89th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Jonathon Reeve left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liphook AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
