Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Garry Sinclair started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Garry Sinclair in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nath Thorn saved Tipton from getting behind. Nath Thorn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duncan Whittingham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richie Sercombe during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Richie Sercombe kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Rômulo Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Running Ducks's Duncan Whittingham got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Garry Sinclair in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nath Thorn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Running Ducks's Garry Sinclair got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rômulo Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Denny Driver stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Tipton booed when Running Ducks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hayden Sugden didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th match minute, Running Ducks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Stonehouse to maneuver through the defense. Tipton's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Rômulo Xavier scored to the left of an out of position Nath Thorn, making the score, 1-1. Rômulo Xavier struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Nath Thorn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Running Ducks. Garry Sinclair could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Nath Thorn made a huge save. 94 minutes into the match, Running Ducks's Duncan Whittingham sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nath Thorn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
