Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gary Miller got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when George Kalischer came free, but Blair Sutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gary Miller sped through Tring AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Brian Branston. After 8 minutes, Verne Sansom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester United and the Tring AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Blair Sutton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Kalischer in the 10th minute of the match. Blair Sutton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Kalischer in the 11th minute of play. If Gary Miller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling George Kalischer in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blair Sutton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodd Pamplin charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodd Pamplin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rodd Pamplin hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Gary Miller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blair Sutton made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Ozzy Simpson sent off a good shot on target. Blair Sutton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Kalischer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ozzy Simpson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Blair Sutton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Brian Branston didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gary Miller went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when George Kalischer made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Chesney Aldridge dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Brian Branston, 0-3. Rueben Leonard kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, George Kalischer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Blair Sutton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Tring AFC defense, Gary Miller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brian Branston. The Tring AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brian Branston should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Gary Miller could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Brian Branston however easily saved by the left post. Tring AFC's George Kalischer got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ozzy Simpson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blair Sutton having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ozzy Simpson in the 80th minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Blair Sutton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Kalischer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ozzy Simpson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 100th minute, Ozzy Simpson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blair Sutton was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4.
