Spectators: 6575 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Toby Sherwood fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fort William FC's protests and gave Toby Sherwood a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fort William FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Toby Sherwood hit a great ball. Fort William FC's Mick Panther played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kelvin Baldwin in the 6th minute of play. Kyle Jefferies fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mick Panther having to interfere. Mick Panther showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kelvin Baldwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, Ferndown AFC's Alastair Cadwallader got a free kick in the 13th minute. Harvey Child struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Rod Bilham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fort William FC. Ferndown AFC's Rod Bilham proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Ferndown AFC from getting a goal against them. Rod Bilham was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Harvey Child capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Harvey Child really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Mick Panther came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Ferndown AFC's Kyle Jefferies. But to his dismay, Kyle Jefferies quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Kelvin Baldwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 minutes, Brandon Knight mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fort William FC and the Ferndown AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th minute, Brandon Knight hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kelvin Baldwin struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Mick Panther didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferndown AFC. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fort William FC's goalkeeper Mick Panther, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Ferndown AFC's Kelvin Baldwin in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fort William FC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vance Cunningham during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ferndown AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Vance Cunningham hit a great ball. Mick Panther took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kelvin Baldwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The goalkeeper, Rod Bilham, was totally fooled by Fort William FC's Rob Budge, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kyle Jefferies to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Rodd Saunders got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matthew Ellerby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Ferndown AFC's Kyle Jefferies dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Ferndown AFC's Rod Bilham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harvey Child in the 84th minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Harvey Child managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fort William FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harvey Child was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rod Bilham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodd Saunders in the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brandon Knight in the 93rd minute of play forced Ferndown AFC's goalkeeper Rod Bilham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Ferndown AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodd Saunders came free, but Rod Bilham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ferndown AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
