Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Graeme Upson started the match with the kick off. If Fred Wishart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stew Blunt made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Fred Wishart sent off a good shot on target. Daryl White took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugh Barratt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugh Barratt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daryl White having to make a save. Lowton's Callum Horsell pulled a muscle in his leg after 17 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 17 minutes, Iain Merrill mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eastbourne and the Lowton players grew even worse after the yellow card. Iain Merrill kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Fred Wishart scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stew Blunt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eddie Willmott during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Eastbourne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddie Willmott to maneuver through the defense. Eddie Willmott kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When Devon Friend fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Graeme Upson in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stew Blunt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Steven Summerfield fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lowton's protests and gave Steven Summerfield a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Steven Summerfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fred Wishart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugh Barratt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Daryl White tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Daniel Tucker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daryl White was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Lowton's zone, Graeme Upson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stew Blunt came out of the goal and Graeme Upson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

If Graeme Upson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lowton's goalkeeper Stew Blunt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Tucker came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Daryl White could save by the left post. Daniel Tucker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daryl White having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Eastbourne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iain Merrill to maneuver through the defense. Eastbourne's Daryl White proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Eastbourne from getting a goal against them. Daniel Tucker struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Daryl White didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lowton. Daryl White showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugh Barratt in the 71st minute of the match. Daryl White made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Tucker in the 81st minute. In the 81st minute, Daniel Tucker reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Daryl White. The goal made the score 1-2. The audience was convinced that Graeme Upson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stew Blunt was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. When Daniel Tucker came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Lowton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Tucker couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Oscar Bignot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lowton's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Bignot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daryl White breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Eastbourne's zone, Daniel Tucker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daryl White came out of the goal and Daniel Tucker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Graeme Upson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 99 minutes, Hugh Barratt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lowton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugh Barratt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lowton had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
