Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Timperley United's Vic Granville started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edward Swain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Story-Moore in the 7th minute of the match. After 7 played minutes Timperley United got a freekick which was hit by Marek Barraclough. If Vic Granville had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doncaster's Keith Edworthy got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lewis Pascoe charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lewis Pascoe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, Timperley United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lewis Pascoe to maneuver through the defense. Keith Edworthy spun around in front of the goal 24 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Timperley United's goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Doncaster's Carl Story-Moore slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edward Swain. That made the score 1-0 after 31 minutes of play. Vic Granville scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastian Keyworth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bryan Metcalf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Keyworth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bryan Metcalf, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Vic Granville succeeded in the game's 46th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. The Doncaster players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Timperley United were winning 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carl Story-Moore made a kick off. Sebastian Keyworth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vic Granville, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Keyworth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vic Granville in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Timperley United getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Lewis Pascoe hit a great ball. Keith Edworthy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Edward Swain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Keith Edworthy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Doncaster fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Keith Edworthy took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edward Swain. Edward Swain dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Sebastian Keyworth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vic Granville in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st minute Vic Granville shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Keyworth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Keyworth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vic Granville in the 92nd minute of the match. Vic Granville had several of the Doncaster's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 94 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-3 score and a disappointed Sebastian Keyworth as he didn't even see the shot coming. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
