The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, Plumpton Green's goalkeeper Colin Weston had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sam Blake. Jamal Chambers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jamie Keane having to make a save. A hard shot 14 in the game by Sam Blake from a close distance when the talented Colin Weston managed to make a qualified save. Plumpton Green's players were relieved. The supporters of Plumpton Green booed when Truro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Paine didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Robbie Jackson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Truro's goal looked a bit too open when Jamal Chambers came free, but Jamie Keane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jack Paine blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Colin Weston having to make a save. Sam Blake received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Colin Weston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sam Blake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 40 minutes, Jack Paine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Truro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jack Paine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 43 in the game by Sam Blake from a close distance when the talented Colin Weston managed to make a qualified save. Plumpton Green's players were relieved. Jack Paine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sam Blake in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Colin Weston, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jack Paine stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 59 played minutes Plumpton Green got a freekick which was hit by Robbie Jackson. Plumpton Green's Colin Weston played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Furniss in the 59th minute of play. If Stew Talbot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sam Blake received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Colin Weston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Truro's Sam Blake sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Colin Weston narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Truro's Jamie Keane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamal Chambers in the 74th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jack Paine in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Colin Weston prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kristian Furniss took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Colin Weston. Plumpton Green's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Stew Talbot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plumpton Green's supporters rose to their feet, but Stew Talbot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jamie Keane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jamal Chambers in the 94th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Jamie Keane kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
