TravelForDummies.co.uk's Johnny Atkinson got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 6 minutes, Gus Rothwell made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Barrow upon Humber City's Joseph Friend tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gus Rothwell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joseph Friend read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Johnny Atkinson managed to get in a good position for a shot. TravelForDummies.co.uk's supporters rose to their feet, but Johnny Atkinson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseph Friend breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, Barrow upon Humber City's goal looked a bit too open when Norman Wadham came free, but Joseph Friend reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of TravelForDummies.co.uk booed when Barrow upon Humber City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Welch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johnny Atkinson in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joseph Friend prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The TravelForDummies.co.uk fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when TravelForDummies.co.uk's Johnny Atkinson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Joseph Friend showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gus Rothwell in the 28th minute of the match. Johnny Atkinson took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joseph Friend. Joseph Friend dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After 36 minutes of play, TravelForDummies.co.uk's Norman Wadham made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joseph Friend was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gus Rothwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Joseph Friend tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Barrow upon Humber City's goal looked a bit too open when Johnny Atkinson came free, but Joseph Friend reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barrow upon Humber City's Joseph Friend played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gus Rothwell in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute Norman Wadham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Friend saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joseph Friend made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gus Rothwell in the 54th minute. Joseph Friend stood somewhat misplaced when Johnny Atkinson came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 56 minute. Barrow upon Humber City's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Johnny Atkinson scored to the left of an out of position Joseph Friend, making the score, 0-8. Joseph Friend made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norman Wadham in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Johnny Atkinson lined in a short shot 0-9 behind a frustrated Joseph Friend. If Gus Rothwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Barrow upon Humber City fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! Barrow upon Humber City:s Joseph Friend showed great skill when he stopped Rodd Turner:s penalty. Rodd Turner scored 0-10 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joseph Friend, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. TravelForDummies.co.uk's Denny Ashton was substituted for Darren Frost. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Frankie Notley took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Joseph Friend to make any attempt to save it. The Barrow upon Humber City fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. TravelForDummies.co.uk were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
