In the 18th minute, Johnathon Willets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes Barrow upon Humber City got a freekick which was hit by Zack Naisbitt. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Eric Castleton took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Joseph Friend to make any attempt to save it. Joseph Friend showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Castleton, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Castleton in the 33rd minute of play forced Barrow upon Humber City's goalkeeper Joseph Friend to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimmy Watts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfie Mortlock in the 37th minute of the match. Andre Kirk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Joseph Friend tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Joshua Welch fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrow upon Humber City's protests and gave Joshua Welch a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Barrow upon Humber City got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Welch. Luke Easter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfie Mortlock made a kick off. Jimmy Watts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luke Easter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joseph Friend having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joe Howson got free with Jimmy Watts in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joe Howson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Jimmy Watts made a huge save. Jimmy Watts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfie Mortlock in the 81st minute of the match. Eric Castleton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 90 minutes Barrow upon Humber City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stevie Forbes who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Alcester FC's corner Stevie Forbes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joseph Friend quite easily take care of the ball. In the 92nd minute, Alfie Mortlock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andre Kirk charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andre Kirk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Alcester FC's Andre Kirk got a free kick in the 94th minute. The corner led Barrow upon Humber City's Zack Naisbitt to fire away a dangerous shot which Jimmy Watts despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alcester FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
