Spectators: 7504 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nathanial Probert kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Gav Lineker recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dylan Farrell. Gav Lineker showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Chaz Maston hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Jens-Erik Falkrantz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylan Farrell having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Ely's goal looked a bit too open when Gav Lineker came free, but Dylan Farrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ely's Dylan Farrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco D'Angelo in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match, Gav Lineker tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dylan Farrell saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gav Lineker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dylan Farrell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Marco D'Angelo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ely's Dylan Farrell. Dylan Farrell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ely's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Jens-Erik Falkrantz scored to the left of an out of position Dylan Farrell, making the score, 3-0. 33 minutes into the match, Hendon's Gav Lineker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dylan Farrell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dylan Farrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Åke Snell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gav Lineker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Hendon's Gav Lineker slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dylan Farrell. That made the score 4-0 after 46 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gav Lineker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dylan Farrell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gav Lineker went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 59th minute Marco D'Angelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dylan Farrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gav Lineker scored 6-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dylan Farrell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee felt a red card was in order, 66 minutes into the game, when Gus Broadhead put in a rough tackle. 67 minutes into the match, Hendon's goal looked a bit too open when Giles Wilson came free, but Leo Mahon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ely's Steve Rundle got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 77 minutes into the match, Hendon's goalkeeper Leo Mahon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matty Stonebridge. Hendon's Leo Mahon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nathanial Probert in the 78th minute of play. Dylan Farrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Åke Snell in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Hendon's Gav Lineker fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Hendon made a substitution. Marty Rowland replaced Sven-Åke Snell. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gav Lineker in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dylan Farrell saved Ely from getting behind. Gav Lineker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dylan Farrell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Marty Rowland notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Ely's Dylan Farrell. Dylan Farrell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dylan Farrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Schreuder, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
