Patrick Bowe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bill Brimble having to interfere. Stan Britton kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Bill Brimble was a little too slow when Nigel Tanner got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nigel Tanner in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bill Brimble saved Raków Częstochowa from getting behind. Bill Brimble made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nigel Tanner in the 70th minute of play. Bill Brimble made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Nigel Tanner sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nigel Tanner in the 77th managed to get into a good position. Lance Corbett's late challenge caught a North Shield Rovers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lance Corbett helped the player get up and apologised. Lance Corbett hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Raków Częstochowa's Lance Corbett got a free kick in the 88th minute. The audience was convinced that Leo Quinn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bill Brimble was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. North Shield Rovers's Patrick Bowe got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. North Shield Rovers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
