Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Isaac Rothwell took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ritchie Bzeu in the 5th minute of play forced Lowestoft AFC's goalkeeper Greg Campbell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ritchie Bzeu in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Greg Campbell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th minute of the match Rhys Porter sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Greg Campbell skillfully saved the ball. Ritchie Bzeu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matthew Llyod received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Greg Campbell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Isaac Rothwell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Howard Waple had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Howard Waple sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in North Petherton United's zone, Isaac Rothwell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerry Crichton came out of the goal and Isaac Rothwell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute, Glyn Clay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lowestoft AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Lowestoft AFC's Isaac Rothwell in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye North Petherton United's goalie prevented a goal. 36 minutes into the game, Ritchie Bzeu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Greg Campbell. Ritchie Bzeu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Gerry Crichton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaac Rothwell's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Howard Waple managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lowestoft AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Howard Waple was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerry Crichton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute, Howard Waple got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Isaac Rothwell's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Gerry Crichton skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gerry Crichton was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isaac Rothwell showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 54 minute of play. Lowestoft AFC's Greg Campbell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ritchie Bzeu in the 58th minute of play. Ashley Akins's late challenge caught a North Petherton United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ashley Akins helped the player get up and apologised. Ross Adams charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ross Adams the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, Ross Adams hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 70 minutes, Howard Waple managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lowestoft AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Howard Waple was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Lowestoft AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Isaac Rothwell hit a great ball. Ritchie Bzeu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greg Campbell having to interfere. If Isaac Rothwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Howard Waple sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Glyn Clay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerry Crichton was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. The throw-in from Carl Wilkins in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lowestoft AFC's Isaac Rothwell. Isaac Rothwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerry Crichton having to interfere. Howard Waple recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The North Petherton United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lowestoft AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
