Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) When Iain Cadwallader came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Chelsea F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iain Cadwallader couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute, Gavin Eubank hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Iain Cadwallader had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Morris. Chippenham United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iain Cadwallader was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Iain Cadwallader fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Morris having to interfere. 0-2 became the score in the 20th minute when Iain Cadwallader elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jack Beard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ed Sharpe was a little too slow when Garry Perryman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-2. Rodney Jobson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Alex Morris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Iain Cadwallader had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ed Sharpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garry Perryman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Iain Cadwallader ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Morris was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Chippenham United's Alex Morris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iain Cadwallader in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jack Beard to strike the kick off in the second half. Iain Cadwallader sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ed Sharpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaq Hicks in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Chelsea F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zaq Hicks came free, but Ed Sharpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodney Jobson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Alex Morris when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 71stth minute of the game Jack Beard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chippenham United's Alex Morris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Carl Fieldwick fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chippenham United's protests and gave Carl Fieldwick a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chelsea F.C. booed when Chippenham United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Fieldwick didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Iain Cadwallader took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Alex Morris to make any attempt to save it. 93 minutes into the match, Chippenham United's goalkeeper Alex Morris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodney Jobson. The throw-in from Stewart Logan in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chelsea F.C.'s Robert Vassell. The Chippenham United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chelsea F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
