Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ron Millman started the match with the kick off. In the 5thth minute of the game Wes Bird who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wem FC's Denny Seaman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jason Dobbs in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Denny Seaman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sammy Bower showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terry Scrivener in the 7th minute of the match. Terry Scrivener sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jason Dobbs took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denny Seaman. Denny Seaman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Jason Dobbs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Denny Seaman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute Terry Scrivener shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sammy Bower saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jason Dobbs in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Wem FC's Denny Seaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Charie in the 23rd minute of play. Kyle Marriot hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. If Jason Dobbs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sammy Bower made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terry Scrivener in the 32nd minute of play. Sammy Bower showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ron Millman in the 33rd minute of the match. Denny Seaman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jason Dobbs in the 34th minute. Denny Seaman was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Ashley Kemp capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ashley Kemp really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Denny Seaman made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Jason Dobbs sent off a good shot on target. Denny Seaman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marty Whieldon, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Denny Seaman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jason Dobbs in the 44th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jason Dobbs to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Keiran Key hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jason Dobbs in the 53rd minute of play forced Wem FC's goalkeeper Denny Seaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Pichit Mercier fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Norton Radstock's protests and gave Pichit Mercier a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Wem FC booed when Norton Radstock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pichit Mercier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denny Seaman came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Norton Radstock's Jason Dobbs. But to his dismay, Jason Dobbs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Denny Seaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jason Dobbs in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ashley Kemp in the 66th minute of play forced Wem FC's goalkeeper Denny Seaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Jason Dobbs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denny Seaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Norton Radstock's Jason Dobbs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denny Seaman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Jason Dobbs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norton Radstock's supporters rose to their feet, but Jason Dobbs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denny Seaman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 75 minutes of play, Norton Radstock's Carl Charie made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denny Seaman was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute Ron Millman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sammy Bower saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norton Radstock's Sammy Bower proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Norton Radstock from getting a goal against them. Denny Seaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jason Dobbs in the 85th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jason Dobbs in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denny Seaman saved Wem FC from getting behind. In the 90th minute, Neil Mayall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Jason Dobbs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denny Seaman was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. The referee felt a red card was in order, 95 minutes into the game, when Pete Rose put in a rough tackle. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Wem FC! Wes Bird walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. There was no doubt that Norton Radstock were the better team. Norton Radstock's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
