Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lennie Holdsworth started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Lucas Firth scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brad Ridgeway, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Sheffield getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Alastair Warden hit a great ball. Devon Lamb hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Robbie Peakman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas Firth hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Sheffield's Toby Hancock got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devon Lamb in the 25th minute of play forced Sheffield's goalkeeper Brad Ridgeway to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Devon Lamb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brad Ridgeway saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Devon Lamb in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brad Ridgeway saved Sheffield from getting behind. Lloyd Dawson's late challenge caught a Brentwood's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lloyd Dawson helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Sheffield:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Brentwood:s goal. The referee gave Brentwood a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ben Merrill, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sheffield's Brad Ridgeway. 0-3. Brad Ridgeway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Austen Eadan in the 35th minute of play. Austen Eadan scored 0-4 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brad Ridgeway, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brad Ridgeway showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Firth in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Brentwood were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas Firth made a kick off. Brad Ridgeway was a little too slow when Devon Lamb got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-5. 57 minutes into the match, Reg Ashton notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Brentwood's Francis Byfield. Francis Byfield was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Devon Lamb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Brad Ridgeway tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alastair Warden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reg Ashton took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francis Byfield. Francis Byfield dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. Lennie Holdsworth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Francis Byfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Brentwood got a freekick which was hit by Jake Steed. Reg Ashton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francis Byfield having to interfere. In the 78th match minute, Sheffield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Kearney to maneuver through the defense. Brad Ridgeway took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Firth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Brentwood's goal looked a bit too open when Lennie Holdsworth came free, but Francis Byfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Devon Lamb hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match.
