Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Drew Pullen made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Trey Lawless managed to get in a good position for a shot. Keggers Hill FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Trey Lawless was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caleb Bourton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Chippenham's zone, Will Newton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caleb Bourton came out of the goal and Will Newton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caleb Bourton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trey Lawless in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12thth minute of the game Trey Lawless who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chippenham's Caleb Bourton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute, Will Newton made a precise shot to the right of Caleb Bourton. Chippenham's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Keggers Hill FC's Billy Rouse got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chippenham's Caleb Bourton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trey Lawless in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Drew Pullen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Trey Lawless fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caleb Bourton having to interfere. Trey Lawless recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Drew Pullen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caleb Bourton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trey Lawless in the 39th minute of play. Trey Lawless sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Caleb Bourton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Will Newton in the 42nd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Keggers Hill FC's Sean Thornton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Caleb Bourton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chippenham's Caleb Bourton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rhys Weedon in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfie Hanley was the one to do the kick off. Alf England hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chippenham's zone, Rhys Weedon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caleb Bourton came out of the goal and Rhys Weedon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caleb Bourton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trey Lawless in the 56th minute of play. Keggers Hill FC's Rhys Weedon got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 63 played minutes Keggers Hill FC got a freekick which was hit by Alf England. 64 minutes into the game, Todd Kerr was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chippenham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Keggers Hill FC the free kick. Todd Kerr hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Caleb Bourton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trey Lawless, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Sean Thornton got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Will Newton managed to get in a good position for a shot. With an all-out effort, Keggers Hill FC's Caleb Bourton threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Drew Pullen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 87th match minute, Keggers Hill FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trey Lawless to maneuver through the defense. Jake Devine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Keggers Hill FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
