A hard shot by Rod Rice from long distance, 94 minutes into the match, got Jay Marler's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Crispin Dudgeon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Hindley AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Jarrow AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
