Spectators: 4700 (Terracing: 3800, Seating: 900, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jon Noble started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Sandown City defense, Tyrone Akins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simeon Hopgood. The Sandown City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simeon Hopgood should have stopped the shot. Sidney Barton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zackary Hargreaves in the 6th minute of the match. Sidney Barton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zackary Hargreaves in the 11th minute. Zackary Hargreaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sandown City's Zackary Hargreaves got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sean Bagshaw had several of the Langley's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Sidney Barton as he didn't even see the shot coming. Sidney Barton stood somewhat misplaced when Jon Noble came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 30 minute. Zackary Hargreaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney Barton having to interfere. Jon Noble sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the game, Lennie Burns recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sidney Barton. Lennie Burns showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. After having played for 44 minutes, Jon Noble managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandown City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jon Noble was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tyrone Akins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simeon Hopgood having to interfere. Sean Bagshaw hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Simeon Hopgood was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tyrone Akins showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 53 minute of play. Sean Bagshaw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Noble in the 62nd minute of play forced Langley's goalkeeper Sidney Barton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zackary Hargreaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Sidney Barton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Tyrone Akins kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Simeon Hopgood. That made the score 3-3 in the 68 minute of play. Sidney Barton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon Noble in the 72nd minute of the match. Langley's Sidney Barton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zackary Hargreaves in the 73rd minute of play. Simeon Hopgood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Clifford in the 76th minute of the match. Sandown City's players were relieved. 83 minutes into the match, Langley's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Noble came free, but Sidney Barton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Noble in the 83rd minute of play forced Langley's goalkeeper Sidney Barton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sidney Barton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lennie Burns's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Langley's Sidney Barton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennie Burns in the 87th minute of play. If Tyrone Akins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sean Bagshaw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney Barton having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
