Ryan Monkhouse was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Alistair Eagles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liphook's supporters rose to their feet, but Alistair Eagles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rupert Ratcliffe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute, Paul Tyler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Rupert Ratcliffe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ryan Monkhouse took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rupert Ratcliffe. Rupert Ratcliffe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 23rd minute, Ryan Monkhouse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ryan Monkhouse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Liphook's zone, Stew Leadbeater stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Bonetti came out of the goal and Stew Leadbeater tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute of the match Jonny Blake shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Peter Bonetti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Paul Tyler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 39 minutes, Ryan Monkhouse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liphook's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryan Monkhouse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Blake kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Rochester AFC got a freekick which was hit by David Blake. Ryan Monkhouse struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Rupert Ratcliffe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liphook. After a defensive mix-up in Rochester AFC's zone, Alistair Eagles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rupert Ratcliffe came out of the goal and Alistair Eagles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, Rochester AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Tyler came free, but Rupert Ratcliffe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ryan Monkhouse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Rupert Ratcliffe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Paul Tyler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liphook's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul Tyler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alistair Eagles hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the game, Jeffrey Philpott was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liphook's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rochester AFC the free kick. In the 77th match minute, Liphook was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeffrey Philpott to maneuver through the defense. After 79 played minutes, Rochester AFC's Jonny Blake shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Peter Bonetti came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rochester AFC reached it. When Ryan Monkhouse came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Liphook fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryan Monkhouse couldn't finish the play. When Andy Osmond fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rochester AFC's protests and gave Andy Osmond a yellow card for diving instead. Andy Osmond hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Rochester AFC defense, Ryan Monkhouse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rupert Ratcliffe. The Rochester AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rupert Ratcliffe should have stopped the shot. 91 minutes into the game, Ryan Monkhouse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Rupert Ratcliffe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rochester AFC's Rupert Ratcliffe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryan Monkhouse in the 96th minute of play. Liphook walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
